Pom Pom Crab (Lybia sp.)

Out of Stock

Also known as the Hawaiian Boxing Crab, this fascinating little creature arms itself with tiny anemones (Triactis Producta, Aliciidae sp.) on each claw, which it uses to defend itself & sweep the water column, rock & substrate for food! Diet: Brine shrimp, Mysis & other small particulate foods. Reef safe with caution, the small anemones may sting sessile invertebrates & corals – occasionally, one or both may be lost but this does not seem to adversely affect the crab & they will often find them again after moulting. Whilst suited to all size reef aquariums with compatible tank mates, for a better chance of spotting them, it is best suited to Nano tanks with other peaceful inhabitants. Size: Small, 2-3cm. Providing there is sufficient space to establish their own territory, 1-3 can be kept together. reefmachine.com

Hawaiian Strombus Snail aka 'Nano Conch'

Check Back Soon!

Rarely available in the hobby & 100% Captive-bred by Reef Machine; these small but mighty snails, Strombus Maculatus, Collumbelid Euplica sp., are a perfect addition for any size marine aquarium - not to be confused with predatory dove snails (similar in appearance), they are highly active, feeding day & night on diatoms, algal films, low turf algae, including cyanobacteria! Their small size makes them perfect grazers for all of those hard-to-reach places! Max Size: 1/2 Inch. They readily reproduce in the aquarium, laying eggs (usually visible on glass / equipment), hatching within 3/4 weeks. Due to their small size, they are not compatible with any predatory tank inhabitants. reefmachine.com
